Beware of fraudulent invoices regarding your international patent application

WIPO has recently distributed a warning about the increase in misleading payment notifications being sent to applicants and inventors in relation to PCT applications...
Many fraudulent notices/requests have been received by applicants who have filed an international patent application under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). A list of many examples of such patent-related notices can be found at www.wipo.int/pct/en/warning/pct_warning.htm.
If you receive a notice, request or invoice regarding your patent application, not sent to you by your attorney, promptly contact your attorney.
